Social Links and Contact Channels: Setup and Troubleshooting
Configure social and contact links correctly, then validate display behavior before publishing.
What this guide helps you do
Visitors can reliably reach your social channels, email, and contact methods from your public profile.
Recommended sequence
- Open Settings workspace and complete Social Channels and Contact Methods with production links.
- Use full URLs where required and verify each destination resolves without redirects or 404 pages.
- Prioritize 3 to 5 high-intent channels (for example: Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, email, booking page).
- Publish profile changes after updates. Draft edits are not visible on the public URL until published.
- Validate in an incognito tab and on mobile to confirm links render and open correctly.
- If links still do not show, check profile visibility, empty values, and any disabled section settings.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Saving social handles without valid URL format for platforms that require full links.
- Adding too many low-priority networks and pushing high-intent channels below the fold.
- Testing only in the editor preview and skipping live public profile verification.
